There are two things that point to this being handmade: the custom fitted liner with ribbon ties at both ends; and, that the wicker material has different shades of brown and that there are five woven rows of special hemp rope interspersed with the reed/rattan rows. Terrific little tray which was either used as a bread basket or to hold toiletries.
CONDITION: wonderful with no damage, staining, or signs of use/wear(even the liner is crisp and unblemished).
PRICING INFORMATION: searched ’s recent sales history for rectangular baskets of the same size with end handles, liner, and in excellent condition and found one match of a sale on August 13, 2026, for $27.94 including shipping, however, this was not handmade with custom liner and artistic woven design.
