Halber’s Special #50 Garanti Solingen, Germany with a level “V” degree of hollowness to the 5/8” quality steel blade. Black scales are in good shape with fine use scuff overall. I think these are celluloid scales.
Photo Etching on face hollow grind of blade reads: (top line) H.GRAILLET-DEMEZ, (lower line) COIEFFEUR-PEPINST-E, these two lines are on a gold colored field trimmed with two stacked black pin stripes, typical scroll fancies are added at center of all four sides. Add the aging fog/ghosting stain on both sides of the hollow grind and some light stain spots on the blade spine. . . o-o-o-ooohh that’s a sharp edge!
