1800's Antique Chinese Famille Rose Medallion Porcelain Nesting Dresser Jars

Antique set of three small round nesting boxes with hand painted enamel traditional figures in interior settings, surrounded by borders of pink peonies and green foliage. Circa 1850-1880, they have the characteristics known for this time period... blank glazed bottoms and an iron-red oxide painted X on the inside rims. When made, the painter and/or kiln worker had painted the inside rim on each with an "X". This would have helped to match the lids to the bottoms. The porcelain does have some pinpricks or tiny bubbles and other imperfections which is an indication of its age. These dome covered jars are in decreasing sizes ranging from 4.5" wide x 3.25" tall, 3.25" wide x 1.75" tall, 2.25" wide x 1.25" tall. They are in good condition overall. We did find a couple of small rim chips.
