Fantastic original late 19th-century hand-painted wooden druggist trade sign from S.E. Mills of Prescott, Ontario.
Dating to approximately the 1880s–1890s, this large wooden sign features bold hand-painted gold/orange lettering reading “S.E. MILLS – DRUGGIST” against a dark background.
A wonderful surviving piece of early Ontario pharmacy and commercial history. The aged painted surface, old wood, cracking, fading and natural wear give this sign incredible character and display appeal.
