Published only months before the United States declared war on Great Britain in June 1812, this issue provides an excellent contemporary primary-source view of one of the central diplomatic disputes immediately preceding the War of 1812.

Condition
Original newspaper with age toning, edge wear, small tears and losses, including a small interior text loss as shown. Uneven and worn outer edges with some larger marginal losses along the top edge. Overall remains readable and displays well for an original 1811 newspaper. Please review photographs for condition.
