1860-1866 Pre Griswold Erie #11 First Series Cast Iron Skillet RESTORED no crack For Sale

This first series ERIE cast iron skillet is FREE OF CRACKS and an absolute history bomb! It doesn’t get any more collectible than the first series and the odd size 11 to boot! This skillet is in amazing condition for for over 140 years old! All surface conditions are better than expected with minimal utensil marks and limited MICRO-pitting in very few spots. There is NO significant pitting on this entire piece. ***There IS a wobble/spin approx 1/16” making it non-suitable for glass top stoves, but it was fantastic on my gas stove during its test drive. I’m going to be sad to let this one go. Skillet was stripped using electrolysis, cleaned with non-abrasives and seasoned using a blend of beeswax, sunflower seed and grapeseed oils and is ready for use.
