Prang lithographed rewards of merit printed on coated stock, plus engraved rewards and calling cards. Springfield, MA: Samuel Bowles & Company, [1860s]. Original, antique reward-of-merit album, front cover stamped in gilt “Album,” measuring 5 x 2.75 inches, [10] double-sided pockets. Good condition, over-opened along spine, some wear and tear to the pockets (with some loss), the rewards-of-merit are in very good condition. A rare example of a 19th century reward-of-merit album, full of a schoolgirl’s rewards and calling cards.
