Original 1865 advertising trade circular issued by The Metallic Car Spring Co. of New-York, located at 54 William Street, New York. This folded circular measures approximately 5 x 8 inches and is blank on the reverse. Dated July 7, 1865 (with the printed June 19 date corrected in manuscript), it announces the company\'s introduction of India Rubber Car Springs for railroad cars, promoting their quality, available sizes, and price of 35 cents per pound while soliciting business from the railroad industry.
