1882 Benjamin Harrison Signed Letter, Framed with $5 National Currency Bank Note - Beckett LOA
This elegantly matted and framed display holds a handwritten correspondence piece signed by Benjamin Harrison, the future 23rd U.S. President. At the time this letter was signed (August 1882), Harrison was serving as a U.S. Senator from Indiana (1881-1887); his presidential term followed later, spanning 1889-1893.
Displayed alongside the letter and a black-and-white portrait of Harrison is a well-circulated $5 National Currency U.S. bank note (First National Bank of Oakland, series 1902, issued 1915) bearing Harrison\'s likeness. A letter of authenticity (LOA) from Beckett Authentication Services accompanies this piece.
Frame measures approximately 21.5 x 17 inches. The letter shows normal age-related toning and creasing consistent with its 1882 date, and the currency note shows expected circulation wear.
