1884 Tacoma WASHINGTON TERRITORY Newspaper ad BAZAAR Sale, W.T. For Sale

Offered is a newspaper advertisement from 1884 when Washington was still a Territory. The store was the Tacoma Bazaar which was located on So. 11th and Pacific Ave. They held a sale on dress goods, boots & shoes, hats & caps, hosiery & underwear, table linens, napkins, towels, blankets & quilts. The store owner was Adoplh Packscher.This is very fragile paper being over 140 years old. It is in good condition with a small tear at the upper right and lower left corners that don't show, but are mentioned for accuracy. The ad size is 4 1/2" by 3 1/2".
