The year before the 1899 Stollwerck \"Rookie Card\" there was this 1898 Liebig extract card. It was issued in three different countries, France, Germany, and Italy, with the most common one being the French version.
This one is the RARELY PSA GRADED GERMAN version.
The back is extremely clean with no signs of pencil or pen identification notations common with this issue. It\'s clearly NEVER been glued into a Liebig album either! I would like to think it\'s a strong VG+ with very few of these cards EVER graded. ANY VERSION OF THIS DA VINCI RELIC IS TRULY THE DEFINITION OF LOW POP!!!
