Original antique invoice/billhead dated December 24, 1898, from Peas & Bute of Houston, Texas, dealers in paints, oils, wallpaper, window glass, window shades and other decorating supplies.
The invoice features an elaborate illustrated advertising header showing the company’s building and storefront. It was made out to the M.T. Jones Lumber Co. in Mexia, Texas, and contains handwritten item descriptions, prices and calculations.
The back is mostly blank but has an additional handwritten note or calculation that appears upside down in relation to the front.
Approximate measurements: 8.5\"W x 7\"H.
Condition: This original paper document is over 125 years old and shows expected age-related wear, including toning, fold lines, light creasing, small marks and spots, and handwritten notations on both sides. Please carefully review all photos for the exact condition.
