Four 1899-1903 Mortuary Benefit Fund - Patriotic Order Sons of America Certificates.
Certificate #875, the seventh assessment of 1899, second assessment of 1900, second assessment of 1901, and third assessment of 1903. Every member paid $1.50 when another member died, the money going into the Benefit Fund; the death benefit was either $500 or $1000. As long as they kept recruiting new members this was a pretty good deal.
Four single sheets. 5”x8.5”. Folded, minor soil, light wear.
