Official souvenir guidebook for the 1905 Lewis and Clark Centennial and American Pacific Exposition and Oriental Fair in Portland, Oregon, published by the Passenger Department of the Northern Pacific Railway and written by Olin D. Wheeler, the railway's staff historian and author of "The Trail of Lewis and Clark, 1804-1904." This is the Fifth Edition, issued under A. M. Cleland, General Passenger Agent, St. Paul, Minnesota. The cover features Northern Pacific's Yellowstone Park Line yin-yang logo alongside portraits of Capt. Meriwether Lewis and Capt. William Clark.
