RARE 1906 ART NOUVEAU MASONIC BRONZE PLAQUE
Eureka Lodge No. 39 – Newark, New Jersey
Exceptional antique 1906 Masonic commemorative plaque celebrating the 50th Anniversary of Eureka Lodge No. 39, F. & A.M. of Newark, New Jersey, dated January 16th, 1906.
This impressive plaque features an elaborate Art Nouveau relief design with beautiful flowing ornamentation, a classical allegorical female figure holding a torch, Masonic symbols, an altar, candles, square and compass imagery, tiled flooring, and additional Masonic architectural details.
The plaque is particularly appealing to collectors because of its early 20th-century Art Nouveau design combined with Masonic history and Newark manufacturing history.
The reverse is marked “AMW NEWARK NJ,” associated with Art Metal Works of Newark, New Jersey, a historically important Newark metalworking manufacturer.

Pre-owned antique condition with an attractive aged bronze/copper patina. Shows natural surface oxidation, discoloration, small marks and areas of wear consistent with age and use. Please examine all photographs carefully as they are an important part of the description.
