Written on official bank letterhead and signed by Assistant Cashier R. C. Hauenstein, the letter discusses the account of Miss Elsie Orr, detailing deposits of $1,050.40 and $517.74, a remaining balance of $32.47, and a demand note of $1,400 dated January 15, 1906, with interest totaling $1,592.27. A fine example of early 20th-century Southern banking correspondence, complete with typed figures, corrections, and signature in ink.
