A beautiful antique Minton\'s cabinet plate for The Cunard Steamship Company featuring the RMS Lusitania.
Made right around 1908-1910, these plates were only sold on board the Lusitania as souvenirs for the 1st class passengers
It\'s a really nice example that retains all of the original graphics with crisp vivid colour
There is no wear to the gilt rim either, the plate looks fantastic on display!
It has the Minton\'s stamp on the base, which I\'ve shown in a close-up photo
The plate measures 23.5cm in diameter
There are two faults to the plate, but they are vey subtle and nearly impossible to see on the front side
It has two faint hairline cracks that I\'ve shown in the photos
One to the rim of the plate, just to the right of the Cunard logo at the top. About 4cm long
The other is in the centre of the plate, running past the top left of the Minton\'s stamp. About 6cm long
As you can see in the photos, they are basically invisible on the front of the plate, so they take nothing away from its display
These plates are quite rare, and there wouldn\'t be many left with the graphics looking this nice!
