Lot of 9 Original 1909 Farmers State Bank Hopkinton, Iowa Advertising Calendars
Wonderful group of nine antique 1909 advertising calendars from The Farmers State Bank of Hopkinton, Iowa, each featuring a different colorful illustrated scene of life in Holland.
The artwork is credited May A. Post, Copyright 1907, with The Osborne Co., N.Y. printed beneath the illustrations. Scenes include Dutch children and families, windmills, tulip fields, boats, traditional clothing and village life.
📅 Months included: February, March, April, May, July, August, October, November and December 1909.
Each piece retains its original monthly calendar and features a different Farmers State Bank advertising message, making this a particularly attractive group of early Iowa banking and advertising ephemera.
These are more than 115 years old and show expected age and handling wear including edge/corner wear, discoloration, spotting, creases and other age-related imperfections. October has the most significant wear, including loss/damage to the lower right corner. Please review all photos closely as they are an important part of the condition description.
