Antique real photo postcard (RPPC) from the 1910s. It\'s a formal studio portrait of three men. An older man with a thick mustache sits in the center in a fedora, dark suit and tie. He is in an ornate Victorian wicker armchair with scrollwork arms. Two young men stand on either side of him, each resting a hand on the chair back. Both wear newsboy / flat caps, high white collars, long ties and suit jackets. The painted studio backdrop and the elaborate wicker chair make a classic Edwardian-era composition. The group may be a father with his sons, though the sitters are unidentified.
The back carries the studio imprint \"Story Photo Co., Fort William and Port Arthur,\" printed vertically along the left edge. Fort William and Port Arthur are the twin cities that joined in 1970 to form Thunder Bay, Ontario. The back is divided, marked \"Made in Canada,\" and has an AZO stamp box with all four triangles pointing up, which dates the photo paper to about 1904–1918. The clothing styles agree with a date of about 1910–1915.
This card will appeal to collectors of Northwestern Ontario and Thunder Bay history, Canadian RPPCs, early 20th-century men\'s fashion and vintage studio photography.

Condition:Good vintage condition for its age. The image is sharp, with good contrast and detail. The corners show wear and light rounding, with the upper left corner most blunted. There is a small nick in the top edge near the center. Some light surface wear and small marks run along the lower image border. The back has overall toning, light soiling and scattered foxing and spots. A small pencil notation appears in the upper right corner of the back. The card is unposted and unwritten.
