Savoy Theatre (London). Original Edwardian theatre programme, printed in blue, issued for the Charles Dickens Centenary Festival production of Dombey and Son (stage adaptation by Metcalfe Wood), presented by Mr. Robert Arthur’s London Repertory Company and produced by Louis Calvert.
The programme includes the printed centenary heading, full cast list and act structure, and retains multiple period advertisements for prominent early 20th-century brands (including beverages, tobacco, confectionery, cosmetics, and household goods), offering a strong snapshot of London commercial life in the Dickens centenary era.
Important condition note: this copy has one leaf torn out, with a remaining vertical strip (approx. ½ inch) still present along the inner margin, consistent with removal at the fold/staple line; therefore one page is missing.
The programme otherwise remains well-preserved for its type, with expected age toning and handling wear, and the surviving text and illustrations are clear and legible.
