1913 Iver Johnson Sporting Goods Co. Illustrated Postmarked Envelope For Sale

Here is an original postmarked envelope made by Iver Johnson Sporting Goods Company that measures approximately 6.25\" x 3.75\". It is from Boston, Massachusetts and bears a Dorchester Center Station postmark dated April 21, 1913 with a two cents canceled postage stamp. It is beautifully rendered on the front and back with various sport team accessories – a bicycle, rifles, golf clubs, basketball, tennis racket, football, ice skates, and camera. On the reverse are various peoplein action – fishing, hunting, tobogganing, ice skating, playing baseball and cycling with tennis and snow shoes and automobile supplies. There is some minor material loss seen on its reverse side right edge\'s top and bottom corners. There is also a postmark on the reverse as well. Thanks for looking at this sale.
