Original WWl German Miniature Iron Cross - Imperial German item made in enamel and silvered bronze. Measures 25.8mmx25.8mm. Thickness: 2mm Weight: 4.50g

The object in the image is an Iron Cross, a German military decoration dating back to the 19th century.

It was originally created in Prussia in 1813 as an award for bravery and military merit.

The Iron Cross has been used in different forms throughout German history, including World War I and World War II.

During the Nazi era, a swastika was added to the center of the cross. The pictured cross does not have the swastika.

The text on the cross says "In diesem Zeichen siegen wir," which translates to "In this sign we shall conquer."
