Up for sale is an exceptional, authentic 1915 large-format silver gelatin photograph mounted on its original 10" x 12" textured dark cardstock board. This historic image captures a lineup of 14 early motorcycle riders posed with their vintage Indian "Big Twin" motorcycles on the first block of North Hamilton in Hamilton, Montana. The detail is incredibly crisp, showing the streamlined fuel tanks, cradle spring frames, riders' caps, and period clothing. The background features prominent local commercial signage, including a vertical "INDIAN" dealership sign hanging from the awning, a "REPAIRING" storefront window sign for local agent F.O. Martin, and the upstairs "NEW ENGLAND ROOMS" lodging sign.
