Original 1915 Ladies’ Home Journal Christmas newsstand advertising poster produced by The Curtis Publishing Company of Philadelphia to promote the Christmas 1915 issue.
The poster features the charming period image “His First Christmas Dinner,” painted by F. S. Brunner from a photograph by H. R. Pott, depicting a young child enthusiastically holding his bottle against a striking red background.

This is a separate period advertising/display piece, not a magazine cover. It measures approximately 11 1/8" wide × 16 1/8" tall and is printed on a single sheet with a completely blank reverse. Close-up photography shows the period printing/halftone structure.
A wonderful surviving piece of early 20th-century American publishing and advertising history, with strong appeal for collectors of Ladies’ Home Journal, Curtis Publishing, antique advertising, newsstand displays, Christmas ephemera, illustration art and early American magazine history.
CONDITION:
Displays very well for its age. There is age-related handling wear including creasing/wrinkling, edge and corner wear, several short edge tears/nicks, and small areas of edge loss, most noticeably along the left side. The primary image, masthead and advertising text remain strong and highly presentable. The reverse is blank and shows expected age and handling.
