Hotta Yu Shoten & Co 9 Piece Antique Kitchen Cannister Set
This is an incredible antique kitchen cannister set. This was made by Hotta Yu Shoten & Co. in Japan between 1920 and 1945. It is a hand painted majolica style ceramic cannister set in a basket weave pattern. The glaze has a crackled, crazing appearance. The cannisters are ivory color with a green and orange design with black lettering. Included are coffee, tea, flour sugar, salt, pepper cinnamon, allspice and pepper.Overall, this set is in Good condition. There are a few covers with chips on the corners ( cinnamon and nutmeg) and the salt jar is missing a pin on one corner of the wooden cover. Please let me know if you have any questions.
