Shipping: I know shipping has gotten pricey. I can't help that. I try to make it as cheap as possible with box size but I have had a couple of recent items damaged. So I will use bigger boxes and double box when possible. It will add more to the shipping but that is the reality now. Thanks.
Steuben cut glass perched eagle which were made between 1920-1929. The amazing thing is the color. It appearsto be clear but you see hints of sepia. I don't know how they did this but it is a beauty.
It has the block letter mark on bottom which is so hard to see. This mark was used between 1903-1933. The figurine/sculpture has this faceted/ hammered pattern look which was all createdby hand. One side of the eagle is lower than the other and this is how it was made, not a later repair. I found a couple of other eagles like this online, that had the same lower shoulder on one side.
Very good condition.Excellent antique condition with the tiniest fleabite to one corner of the base. Not obvious and incredibly small.Measures about 8" high by 2" wide by 2 3/8" deep. It weighs 2 lbs beforepacking.
