1920's Veterans of The Field Northrup King & Co's and 1926 Calendar For Sale

Up for sale is this very interesting piece that was produced in the 1920's. I have owned this for over 20 years. The print itself was painted by an artist named Pope and it's titled "Veterans of The Field."On the bottom right corner of the print it reads: "1923 Brown & Bigelow, St. Paul, MN.” Brown & Bigelow started in 1896, printing calendars and other print materials for companies, by the 1940's, they were one of the largest printers of calendars in the world. This particular lithograph was made for J.J. Dahne, a feed store located in Stillwater, Minnesota. As you can see in the pictures, they sold grain, flour, all kinds of feed, baled hay, straw, and Northrup Kings' Sterling Feeds. The calendar has never been used and has the various moon phasesthroughout the month. The image size is: 8 3/4 in high by 6 7/6 in. wide. The lithograph measures: 19 in. high by 9 7/8 in. wide. The calendar measures: 6 3/4 in wide by 3 1/2 in. high. The cardboard measures: 20 1/4 in by 11 3/4 in. The condition is good considering it was printed over 100 years ago. As seen in the photos, there are some tears and cracking.
