In the early 1900s, F. C. Lundquist started a cigar company in Chicago that produced popular cigars—especially the Arthur Donaldson brand. Donaldson was a real person, an actor who played the role of Prince Pilsner in a silent movie. In a way, Donaldson became a spokesperson for the company.
