Antique four-tube regenerative radio receiver, dating to approximately 1925–1927, built as a high-quality custom/homebrew set using substantial period components from recognized radio manufacturers.The front panel is laid out with separate controls marked REGENERATION, CONDENSER, and VARIOMETER, along with four individual stage controls configuration is consistent with a regenerative detector receiver followed by three stages of audio amplification, making it a comparatively elaborate early radio build.The interior retains a large amount of period hardware, including identifiable Kellogg Switchboard & Supply Co., Chicago components. Visible markings include Kellogg S.&S. Co. No. 501 hardware and a Kellogg No. 605 variable condenser/tuning capacitor. Additional period components include a molded Micamold fixed condenser, apparently marked approximately .00025 MFD.Other visible features include large variometer/variocoupler assemblies, early audio-frequency transformers, original-style rheostats, tube sockets, point-to-point wiring, tuning hardware, and a fitted wooden cabinet with removable rear panel included.No complete-set manufacturer or model plate has been found, so this receiver is being described as a period custom/homebrew set built with Kellogg and other quality contemporary components, rather than as a factory Kellogg receiver.Condition: Untested and sold as-is for restoration, display, study, or collection.
