The product is a rare 1921 Fraternal Order of Eagles Grand Aerie Convention medal badge from Newark, New Jersey. This historical collectible item showcases the organization\'s historical significance in the United States during that time period. It is a unique piece of memorabilia that would be valuable for collectors interested in fraternal organizations and their history.

This impressive multi-piece badge features an ornate gold-tone upper pin bar containing the original printed convention insert:
GRAND AERIE CONVENTION
NEWARK, N.J.
AUG. 8 TO 13, 1921
Suspended below is the original red, white and blue ribbon and a large decorative eagle pendant displaying the F.O.E. insignia and L.T.J.E. symbolism associated with the Fraternal Order of Eagles.
The reverse is maker marked:
SCHWAAB S. & S. CO.
MILWAUKEE
Schwaab Stamp & Seal Co. of Milwaukee was a noted American manufacturer of convention, fraternal and organizational badges during this period.
Historical records confirm that the 1921 F.O.E. Grand Aerie Convention was held in Newark, New Jersey, August 8–13, 1921, matching the location and dates printed on this badge.
Contemporary newspaper reporting also documents F.O.E. members traveling to Newark to participate in the national convention. Because convention activities included both official delegates and other attending Eagles, this example is being conservatively described as an official Grand Aerie Convention badge rather than specifically as a voting-delegate credential.
A particularly attractive surviving piece of early 20th-century American fraternal history. Complete early convention badges retaining their ribbon, upper bar and large suspended medal can be difficult to find.
Measures 3.75 x 2 inch, weighs 31 grams
Condition: Very good antique condition considering its approximately 105-year age. Original ribbon remains intact and shows expected aging, creasing and wear. Metal surfaces exhibit age-related scratches, spotting, oxidation/patina and finish wear, particularly on the reverse. Printed convention insert remains quite legible. No attempt has been made to clean or polish the piece. Please examine all photographs carefully, as they form an important part of the condition description.
