For sale is a vintage Bauscher Weiden china compote from the George Washington Hotel in Pennsylvania. The compote measures approximately 2 1/8 inches tall with a diameter of approximately 6 inches on the top and approximately 3 1/4 inches on the bottom. Although there is not a specific date on this, I’m assuming that this was made sometime either during or before the 1950s. This is being sold as is.
This piece came from a recently acquired 2,000+ collection of vintage restaurant china. I will do my best to describe any issues, or ware with this item, but please review the pictures for the condition of this item.
Please refer to the photos of the actual condition of the item. There is some general staining and wear from age, but there doesn’t seem to be any major damage or cracks. On a scale of one to 10 with 10 being the greatest, I would rate this at five. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact me prior to purchasing.
