Much of the scrapbook relates directly to West Waterloo High School and Waterloo, Iowa. Included are West Waterloo High School programs and clippings, a 1929 Iowa High School District Music Contest program, Junior-Senior Banquet material, Speech Arts material, school plays and concerts, Honor Society clippings, graduation material and numerous photographs of students and friends.
The later portion includes a few additional loose material, photographs, cards and correspondence, including an envelope addressed to Ruth Hey in Wenatchee, Washington with a Pacific Coast Steamship Co. S.S. Diamond Cement, View Cove, Alaska handstamp. Numerous names, photographs and local historical references throughout provide considerable potential for genealogical and Waterloo historical research.
This scrapbook is being sold complete and intact exactly as found. Nothing has been removed or separated. A wonderful one-of-a-kind archive of a young woman's life, friendships, education and social activities during the late 1920s.

Original vintage scrapbook with expected age wear throughout. Pages show edge wear, small tears, chipping, handling wear and occasional looseness. Photographs, programs, clippings, cards, drawings and other ephemera have varying degrees of toning, discoloration, creasing, edge wear and age-related wear. Some pieces are attached to the pages while others are loose or tucked into the scrapbook. Binding and covers show wear consistent with a scrapbook approximately 100 years old. Please examine photos carefully for contents and condition. Sold complete as found.
