The image shows the riders mounted on horseback and galloping along a bridle path in Central Park. The attached press caption on the reverse reads in part: “Cossacks do their stuff in Central Park — New York, N.Y. — In Central Park, this morning, a company of Cossacks, who will soon … in Madison Square Garden, did their stuff on the bridle paths of the Park.”
The reverse bears the original Photo by Underwood and Underwood label, press caption, credit stamp, and date stamp of May 25, 1926.
