Original 1926 J.C. Penney Co. advertising pocket notebook, issued by the J.C. Penney department store at 902–906 South Eighth Street, Manitowoc, Wisconsin.
A great piece of early J.C. Penney advertising, with colorful illustrated covers and several printed informational and promotional pages inside. The booklet promotes J.C. Penney as “The World’s Largest Chain Department Store Organization” and a “Nation-Wide Institution.”

* Advertising for clothing, dry goods, shoes, household needs and other departments

The notebook appears to have never been used, with the identification fields and graph-paper pages remaining blank.
Measures approximately 2 1/2 x 5 1/4 inches.
Condition: Very nice overall vintage condition. Interior is clean and unused. Covers show light age and handling wear. There is a small hardened spot/glob that appears to be old glue near the upper portion of the back cover. Please see photos for condition and details.
