Small approximately 7/8” diameter celluloid-style pinback featuring a portrait of Charles Lindbergh surrounded by patriotic red, white and blue decoration and the words WELCOME LINDY.
Lindbergh became an international celebrity after completing the first solo nonstop transatlantic flight from New York to Paris in May 1927, prompting enormous public celebrations and the production of “Welcome Lindy” memorabilia.
Vintage condition with noticeable age-related discoloration/toning around the perimeter, surface wear and other signs of age as photographed. Portrait and lettering remain clearly visible.
