This is a large period-bound newspaper volume containing a full month of Nashville and Tennessee history, national news, politics, advertising, fashion, automobiles, local businesses, sports, photographs, and other period content from August 1928.
The volume includes numerous large advertisements and illustrated pages, along with Nashville-specific material and period coverage from the 1928 election year.
Condition: The binding is heavily worn and the first couple of pages at the beginning are quite brittle with edge loss. The final page also has heavier wear. Once past the first few pages, the majority of the interior pages are in noticeably better condition and can be handled much more easily. There is age toning, edge wear, small tears, chipping, and other expected wear throughout from nearly 100 years of age.
This is being sold as an original historical newspaper archive, not as a high-grade individual newspaper.
