1929 Brandywine Sugar Beverage Root Glass Green Bottles Pair Farm Found For Sale

Both bottles are heavily damaged at the bases with substantial chunks of glass missing from the bottom rims, along with additional small chips and possible hairline cracks. Remarkably, both bottles still stand upright on their own. Bottles have interior dirt/residue and are being sold as found rather than aggressively cleaned. Please examine all photographs carefully for condition.Farm-found: These bottles were found buried on our 19th-century Indiana farm. They are being offered largely as found, with interior soil/residue and age-related wear remaining. One bottle is confirmed by its visible ROOT and “29” markings as a 1929 Root Glass Company bottle. The corresponding marking area on the second bottle is damaged and cannot be read. It is kind of special to realize you have bottles that have been buried for near 100 years.
