Salvaged from a West Michigan farm, this is an exceptional, complete (or very near) pre-war 1930s Stanley Universal Combination Plane outfit. Rare, original state factory grouping with the original yellow metal advertising case fitted to the tool and accessories and the classic green Stanley shield lettering.
The case itself is difficult to find, as they often were separated from the plane or lost to rust or simply being thrown out. This case has some surface wear but the hinges are intact and the latch is still present. A very nice case that displays well while demonstrating design taken in storing pre-war planes.
Comes with the paper instruction manual. Does have wear including paper tears and discoloration, but it\'s presence adds to the completeness of this outfit. Copyright 4-11-22.
Comes with 54 original cutters that show very minor wear, especially considering their age and still feel sharp. Includes numerous straight, beading, hollow/round and specialized profile cutters.

A truly unusual find, this outfit is not only complete (or very close) the condition is significantly better than typical. The rosewood is in fine condition with a wonderful deep tone, and the nickel finish shows very little wear for an exceptional overall condition.
