Labels are shipped flat with cardboard to insure they reach you in the same condition that they left me.Founded by Morton and Rose Neumann in 1926, Valmor Products Company operated from Chicago’s South Side between the 1920s and 1980s. They sold perfumes, hair pomades, incense, and a wide variety of other products with these eye-catching labels that hinted at the mystical powers of the products within. They were produced in small quantities and targeted to minority consumers. Featuring the artwork of noted African-American commercial artist Charles Dawson, Valmor’s products offer a fascinating glimpse into Black beauty standards in the early 20th Century.Excellent condition with vibrant colors. These are great ethnic advertising pieces of history. NOT REPROS. These are ORIGINAL dead-stock from the 1930s. Suitable for framing.
It should be noted that these are not in absolutely perfect mint condition. They are in very, very, very, good condition considering their age. They are nearly 100 years old after all. MINOR blemishes may be present.
