This “Buy it Now” offering is for threevintage clay-composite poker chips from the 1930s embossed with a Monocoupeairplane, a historic aviation advancement developed in the late 1920s. Thesechips were inspired by an era of exciting advances in the development of airtravel that surrounded Charles Lindberg’s first air crossing of the Atlantic in1927. These chips are known to collectors as Airplane (PT-AT) and the designappears to portray a 1930 Monocoupe 90 DeLuxe that became popular as a racingplane. These are great examples of clay-resin composite poker chips circa1930s manufactured prior to the development of modern plastics in the 1940s. Youwill receive the red, white and blue chips in this historic design.
These chips display beautifully and wouldmake a great addition to any poker chip or game collection or as a gift for thepoker or aviation history enthusiast.
