Offered is an original vintage 1930s black-and-white glass plate negative capturing a rigid airship / dirigible (labeled historically as a \"blimp\") cruising low over the downtown Boston skyline.
The negative provides crisp architectural detail across the Boston rooftops, notably featuring a large painted rooftop advertisement for \"Filene\'s Air Conditioned\" directly beneath the flight path, alongside classic brick facades, smokestacks, and period commercial buildings.
