Original Vintage 1939 Penn-Stroud Hotel Restaurant Menu Stroudsburg Pennsylvania New York World's Fair
Stroudsburg, the Monroe County seat, grew around the stockaded Fort Penn home of Col. Jacob Stroud (1735-1806), the town's founder. The Main Street hotel dates its origins to 1833; it changed names and owners over the decades but always remained a hotel. By the late 1930s it was operating as the Penn-Stroud, promoted on period postcards as a Pocono Mountains hotel.
It measures 14.25" x 8.5"
