Original 1939 Hotel Californian, Taylor & O’Farrell, San Francisco, multi-piece ephemera lot. All items were removed from a scrapbook, and several pieces show adhesive residue, paper scarring, and surface losses on the reverse (see photos of backs).

June 20, 1939 Special Luncheon Menu, approx. 8.75\" × 12\".
Back shows large browned adhesive areas, surface pulls, and one hole from removal.
Menu includes: Starts of Lettuce w/ Anchovy French Dressing; Cream of Green Asparagus Soup; Beef Stew; Sausage Patty & Waffle; Roast Sirloin; Baked Ham; Tongue Potato Salad; pies; sherbet; coconut custard pudding; iced and hot beverages.
Unused Hotel Californian letterhead, approx. 8.5\" × 11\".
Back shows scrapbook toning areas.
Hotel Californian envelope, flap area has paper loss from scrapbook removal and prior adhesion.
Color Hotel Californian postcard, unused.
Back is clean except for mild toning from scrapbook.
Hotel Californian orange matchbook, partial matches present, some scuffing from removal.
CONDITION NOTES
All pieces show some degree of scrapbook removal damage on the reverse—adhesive staining, surface pulls, and backing paper remnants.
Fronts display well; colors on postcard and matchbook are strong.
Menu has additional age toning and edge wear typical of 1930s paper.
