Brass except for the trim around the embroidered Petit Point insert on the top. Remnants of some facial powder in the bottom edges of the Compact. marked \"Made in USA\" above the inner hinge. CONDITION: The Brass has discoloration in some places, and the trim around he embroidered insert is not Brass and has some paint loss. The catch works great, opens and closes well, and the mirror is in great condition. Some remnants of pale facial powder. Hand embroidered lid insert is in good condition with some age darkening.
