Original 1942 Highline High School Pirates' Log yearbook from Washington. Belonged to junior Carolyn Wilkinson, whose portrait is pictured. Numerous period inscriptions are addressed to her as "Wilkie," and one reads "Stolen from Carolyn Wilkinson '42." Extensively signed and inscribed by classmates. Includes student, faculty, club, athletics and school-life photographs.
Condition Notes:
Very good condition for its age. Binding is intact and pages present well overall. One localized area of wear/loss is present along the spine. Some reddish color transfer/bleed appears on interior pages. Numerous handwritten 1942 inscriptions and signatures throughout; these are original to the book.
