- 1942 General Store Year In Review Frozen in Time!!
- This is such a great find!! Files of a historic general store. A L Bergstresser on Hellertown Rd in Wassergass, Pennsylvania. This store was in Lower Saucon Township, just outside of Hellertown, PA.
- Hundreds of receipts for the year from local businesses.They are organized in alphabetical order and placed in lettered sections of the file. A lot of them in Allentown, PA. I saw a few in Hamburg, PA. I saw businesses in Philadelphia, Bethlehem and other local towns most of which were found in Northeastern Pennsylvania.
- Very detailed receipts. The file itself is really unusual too. The file holder is mostly made of cardboard and is designed to look like a book and slide onto a bookshelf. It can then be laid down, almost like a little desk and has a metal closure.
- Total weight is approximately 6 pounds 8 ounces prior to packaging. There are A LOT of receipts!! The file measures approximately 12\" x 11\" x 3.5\" thick.
