Fantastic vintage postcard "Souvenir from Aloha Land / Real Hawaiian Volcano Lava" with small white pouch stapled to it, stating "In the pouch is a piece of GENUINE LAVA." Has photo of (at the time) "one of the latest picture of the volcano flowing down the mountain side." List of the "Volcanoes of Aloha Land." Print at bottom reads " Copyright, 1942, John A. Lee."
See full description in text on the front. Good condition for 80+ years old! Some edge wear, a little wavy, paper has slightly darker small rectangular patch on reverse of card but not sure why. We purchased this card at a tiny antique store in Hawaii. Card is 3-3/8" x 5-1/2" and really unique.
Due to thickness and to risk any damage to the little lava pouch (has the original staple holding it to the card) it will be shipped in a bubble envelope, USPS Ground Advantage.
