Original 1947 Collier’s Magazine advertisement for State Farm Insurance featuring a dramatic black-and-white automobile scene with the line “I don't care if it pours...we're walking!” Strong mid-century Americana piece with period fashion, early auto culture, and advertising history appeal. Reverse is dated Collier’s for July 19, 1947 and includes a Vaseline Hair Tonic advertisement plus “Keep Up With the World” column content, adding display and ephemera interest on both sides.
Measures approx. 10.5" x 14". Raw edge on one side where removed from the original magazine, consistent with vintage magazine ads. Nice candidate for framing.
