Vintage 1949 Colonial Echo yearbook from the College of William & Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia.This is the 1949 edition featuring extensive photographs and history of William & Mary students, campus life, organizations, fraternities, athletics and graduating seniors.Of particular interest to football collectors, the yearbook features Jack Cloud, William & Mary football star and later College Football Hall of Fame inductee. Cloud is identified by name in the football section and is pictured in multiple football photographs.Jack Cloud was an All-American at William & Mary and later played professional football with the Green Bay Packers and Washington Redskins.The yearbook also contains excellent period photography throughout, including large campus photographs, senior portraits, athletics, fraternities, student organizations and scenes of college life in the late 1940s.Condition: Good vintage condition for its age. Binding remains intact and interior pages display well. There is expected age-related wear, toning and some spotting/foxing.
