1949 MCM Chalkware BANK Blue Hen w/ chicks Handpainted Chicken 9\" x 6.5\" LARGE For Sale

Rare find. 9\" x 6\" x 6.5\" tall chalkware chicken bank. Handpainted in unique colors - blue with silver highlights.In excellent condition - some small flea size paint chips on the hen\'s breast and comb. Chalkware (or plaster of Paris as we used to call it) usually doesn\'t hold up this well over 70+ years.I found one other similar bank using the same mold online and it said it was marked \'1949\' so I\'m going with that date.
